Join us at Foothills Ranch on Sunday, June 14 for the 4th annual community event to honor our American flag, and recognize our esteemed veterans, first responders, law enforcement, and mark the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday.

The importance of honoring and respecting the American flag remains as strong as ever. In recognition of that enduring patriotism, Foothills Ranch in Mayer will once again host its annual Flag Day Retirement Ceremony, continuing a meaningful community tradition that pays tribute to the nation’s flag.

The ceremony will include the formal retirement of several hundred unserviceable American flags, an emotionally stirring tribute to our flag. Guests include Honorable Vets, First Responders, Boy Scouts, and Local FFA members. This event is co-sponsored by the Post 6 Honor Guard and the Post 6 Legion Riders.

Also, there will be a large flag raising and celebration in recognition of the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday, a Missing Rider tribute, community barbecue, lunch and more.
